We are huge fans of creator owned projects, especially in the comic book realm. We hope you like this concept as we've worked with Justin in the past. In fact, Justin is so talented, he wrote the soundtrack to my very first short film way back in the early 2000s. He also one of the few fellow students who understood the amazing storytelling that takes place in the pages of comic books. We frequently discussed our favorites. But I digress. Justin has a new project and you need to know more!
"What if Akira Kurosawa wrote and directed Star Wars?" If that sounds like your jam, you're in the right place! Two years in the making. Thirty-two pages of #comics awesomeness. Co-created by writer Justin Zimmerman and artist Ethan Claunch (The 27 Run: Crush), and featuring a cover by Robbi Rodriguez (Spider-Gwen), colors by Jeremy Colwell (Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and lettering / design by Pete Carlsson (Frank Miller Presents), Ghosts in a Burning City is wrapped and ready for your hot little hands.
It's almost like Justin made this project just for me as he tackles a Star Wars styled storyline. Head to the Kickstarter page to learn more about this fantastic comic book and how you can support the project.
