Nerd Alert Movie Club - SILVER BULLET (1985) - Does This Stephen King Werewolf Movie Hold Up?
It’s October, so the Nerd Alert Movie Club is getting spooky!
🌕🐺 This month, we’re heading back to 1985 for SILVER BULLET, the Stephen King werewolf movie starring Corey Haim, Gary Busey, Megan Follows, and Everett McGill.
Based on King’s novella CYCLE OF THE WEREWOLF, Silver Bullet gives us a small town being terrorized by a mysterious killer, a kid in a souped-up wheelchair called the Silver Bullet, Gary Busey being peak Gary Busey, and one seriously angry werewolf.
But nearly 40 years later, does SILVER BULLET still have some bite?
Join the Nerd Alert crew as we revisit this ’80s horror cult classic, talk about what works, what absolutely doesn’t, our favorite moments, the werewolf itself, and whether Silver Bullet deserves a spot among the better Stephen King adaptations.

🍿 ABOUT NERD ALERT MOVIE CLUB
Every month, one member of the Nerd Alert crew chooses the movies and everyone else has to watch them. No excuses. No substitutions. Then we get together to debate, defend, criticize, reminisce, and occasionally question why we're still friends.
