Season 2 of The Pitt wastes absolutely no time reminding us why it became such a gripping, must-watch medical drama in its debut season. Written by R. Scott Gemmill and directed by John Wells, the premiere episode throws us right back into the organized chaos of the fictional Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center, better known as The Pitt, with tension, character depth, and just the right amount of dread.

There’s a certain kind of action movie that knows exactly what it is, and then there’s The Beekeeper, which leans into that identity with a confidence that’s impossible not to enjoy. Written by Kurt Wimmer (The Recruit, Law Abiding Citizen) and directed by the incredibly underrated David Ayer (Sabotage, Fury), this is a revenge-fueled, high-octane ride that delivers exactly what fans of the genre crave, and then some.

Episode 7 of Shrinking Season 3, “I Will Be Grape,” continues the show’s signature balancing act, delivering laugh-out-loud comedy while quietly gut-punching you with emotional honesty. Directed by James Ponsoldt and written by Zack Bornstein and Sasha Garron, this episode leans heavily into both sides of that equation, and it works beautifully.

When a new series comes from Taylor Sheridan, audiences tend to walk in with certain expectations. His track record with shows like Yellowstone, Tulsa King and Mayor of Kingstown has built a reputation for intense drama, moral gray areas, and powerful characters battling brutal circumstances. But the pilot episode of The Madison, written by Sheridan and directed by Christina Alexandra Voros, quickly proves that this series may not follow the path many of us expected.

Episode four of the revived Scrubs, titled “My Poker Face,” leans heavily into one of the show’s most relatable themes: what happens when adulthood finally catches up with you. For years, the friendship between Zach Braff’s JD and Donald Faison’s Turk was defined by carefree immaturity. Even as doctors, they always managed to carve out time for goofy traditions, whether that was ridiculous hospital antics or the occasional guys’ night.
